On the 28th of November 2008 the Trees for Kids Trust (TFK), in conjunction with strategic partners, launched the Trees for Tomorrow project in Victoria. The Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation, Salvation Army, The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation and Trust for Nature have been working with TFK and Local Government to develop this Environmental Conservation Project with Charitable offsets. The establishment of Trees for Tomorrow conservation areas will aid to address environmental degradation. It will have a considerably positive impact on the growth of Australia's plantation estate and provide perpetual heritage conservation areas for the enjoyment of everyone. Furthermore the tree planting project will also provide major donations to charitable institutions to assist them with medical research, children's development and health issues, along with general improvement of socio-economic conditions within Australia. |
Help us achieve our goal of 100,000 trees (2000 lifetime) and we will donate over $2 million to our charitable partners
